Lovefilm is the UK's biggest DVD rental service with an estimated one million customers. They offer 65000+ DVD and Blue-ray titles for rental and claim to have virtually every DVD title in the UK.
Lovefilm offer monthly limited and unlimited rental plans and also 'pay as you go' plans.
Their limited rental plans are the cheapest and allow you to rent a fixed number of movies a month whilst unlimited plans don't have any limit. Limited light use plans start from £3.91 per month and unlimited rental plans from £9.78 per month.
Pay As You Go

Discs are delivered out 6 days a week using the Royal Mail first class postal service which means that you'll most likely get your requested DVD the next working day. Delivery costs are free and they supply a freepost envelope for your return DVDs.
Movies on Demand
Lovefilm are now offering a new 'watch online' service where subscribers can watch thousands of movies instantly online with the Lovefilm player. Their watch online service is a new addition to their standard DVD rental service and allows you to watch the latest movie releases and special archive material instantly at not extra cost. You can also continue to rent these titles on DVD as usual.
Video Games
Lovefilm also offer a combined game and DVD rental plan starting from just £5.99 a month. This is great value if you enjoy playing video games aswell as watching movies, with a selection of over 6300 game titles to choose from.
