Tesco DVD Rental Review

Tesco DVD Rental is a powered by Lovefilm service which means it is run by Lovefilm but uses the Tesco brand name and website. They offer the same selection of movies for rental as Lovefilm which is currently 65000+ DVD and Blue-ray titles.

Tescos DVD rental plans are slightly cheaper than Lovefilm's but their limited light use plans use second first class post instead of first. Limited monthly plans start from £4.47 (Lovefilm £4.99) a month while unlimited plans start from £9.47 (Lovefilm £9.99) a month.

Unlike Lovefilms rental service you can't watch streamed movies online and the Tesco website is not as slick and informative either.

Video Games

Tesco offer unlimited 'DVD + game rental' plans which start from £10.47 a month (Lovefilm £11.22). This is great value if you enjoy playing video games aswell as watching movies with a selection of 6300+ game titles to choose from. Tesco don't currently offer limited / light use 'DVD + game rental' plans which are significantly cheaper at just £5.99 with Lovefilm.
